[Mikara] Birds seem to be your signature thing for your brand. What interest you to create bird shape earrings? Does it represent anything personal to you?
[Begoña] One of my childhood memories is me at my pottery class making little tiny birds of clay. For my brand DNA I wanted to go back to my roots and use those first ideas I had as a kid and make them functional. For the last bird and a marble collection I worked with Rolando, a local craftman from Oaxaca.

[Mikara] An entrepreneur/business owner is trying to start a brand, what pro’s and con’s would you tell them before starting the brand?
[Begoña] I wouldn´t say pros or cons but it takes a lot of self-discipline and motivation. I´ve learned to manage myself mentally and emotionally for the ups and downs. So I would tell them to keep in mind what they are passionate about and keep working hard for it.
